Today's XKCD made me laugh:

Division Notation

That's because I'm currently teaching students how to work with fractions. I automatically start with "software engineer" notation before switching to a "scientist" or "schoolchild" notation when more appropriate. Every time I'd switch, it'd feel a bit strange, and I couldn't articulate why. But now I understand – I'm a software engineer!

I have only one question for you, Randall Munroe. Can you please include the "//" notation for integer division?
